GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO (DRAFT 2013 15th OVERALL)
Premessa: il draft del 2013 se la gioca, assieme a quello de 2001, per il peggiore di tutti i tempi.
Basta pensare che tra tutti i prospetti scelti, ad oggi, ancora nessuno è esploso in maniera definitiva e solo uno è All-Star.
Quest’uno è “The Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Il talento greco che sta facendo innamorare i tifosi dei Milwaukee Bucks e non solo, però, è stato chiamato dai Cervi “solamente” alle quindicesima.
“Anteto” è esploso definitivamente in questa stagione, ottenendo anche un personalissimo record: è il primo giocatore nella storia della NBA ad essere nei top 20 della classifica punti, assist, rimbalzi, stoppate e rubate.
Probabilmente, visto la pochezza delle altre scelte, avrebbe meritato una maggiore considerazione.
