Nel corso di ottobre, Bozidar Malijkovic, presidente del Comitato Olimpico della Serbia e rinomato allenatore, aveva ufficializzato il coinvolgimento di Jokic alle prossime Olimpiadi, nel corso di un’intervista a Juan Jimenez di AS.com. “Nella Coppa del Mondo FIBA 2023 Non avevamo l’MVP della NBA, Nikola Jokic. Né Vasilije Micic, l’MVP dell’EuroLeague. E nemmeno Nikola Kalinic. A proposito, ho già annunciato che a Parigi saranno tutti, Jokic compreso”.
Nikola Jokic ha lasciato un’impronta indelebile con la nazionale di basket della Serbia, distinguendosi come uno dei giocatori più influenti.
